Convenience/ Gift Card - Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ’s

1. What dollar amount can I get cards in? Cards can be loaded with any dollar amount between $20 and $250. $20 is the minimum value to be loaded or added to the card.
2. What fees are associated with the card? There are NO fees associated with the card.
3. How do I check the balance remaining on my card? You can go to www.valutec.net or you can call 1-877-654-6937.
4. When will the card expire? The card does not expire.
5. How do I reload my Handy Mart Convenience/ Gift Card? To reload your card, please visit any Handy Mart location.
6. Can I get cash back from my Handy Mart Convenience / Gift Card? No, your card is not redeemable for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card until your next purchase.
7. What should I do if my card is lost or stolen? The Handy Mart card will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. Please refer to the Card Terms and Conditions.
8. Why can’t I use the card for payment at the pump? The card is not a debit or credit card and our pumps only accept debit/ credit cards at this time.
9. What does Relay for Life have to do with the Convenience/ Gift card? Handy Mart will donate 1% of all values placed on the cards (up to $20,000 annually) to the American Cancer Society through the Relay for Life program in the local store area.
10. Can I buy multiple cards at one time? For orders of 10 or more cards, and for your convenience, call 800-329-1137 X 120 and ask for “Gift Card purchases.” Otherwise you may purchase at any Handy Mart location.
11. What method of payment can I use for the card? You may use cash, debit, or credit card to purchase a card. You may not use a Handy Mart Convenience/ Gift card to purchase a card.
